Yes, it's gaining constantly. Everyone agress that svn is just a better
incarnation of CVS, and it even works quite much the same, just with a
few but important improvements, mostly under the hood. And using
the "svnX" client makes it all easy to handle, I promise you (if you have
a question there, I'm happy to assist you).

No, because it separates (RB 200x) or simply removes (RB 5.x) the
editing information so that such changes do not cause a version
difference.

Yes, I'm using it every day here. :)

Just have a lookout for 1.1.4, which I hope to release today (but I said
that last weekend already, too) and which will have a few more
usability improvements.
