I did that...I have a G5 1.8GHz with 1G of RAM, and a new iMac with
Intel Core Duo 2GHz and 1G RAM...new machines aren't the
problem...RB2006 is.

it sucks for sure, but you have one of the larger project files
i've heard mention of. if this really is your business, and you
really need to upgrade, then a new machine shouldn't be a horrible
thing to consider. a new machine every 2-3 years is the cost of
doing business IMHO.

Thanks for the reply. Guess I'll have to go to G8 or 9 with 3 or
4 1 TG processors :( I'm surprised that the entire NUG list isn't
screaming about these problems. I'm even further surprised that
there isn't really a lot of these complaints on the Feedback
site. I did see one of your threads where they keep asking for
you to attach a project. Problem for me is that the ones I have
this size have proprietary stuff in them that I can't
include...and without that, they won't compile. They work PERFECT
under 5.5, although a bit slow to build and debug, but it's a TON
better than this. One app in particular is a commercial app
that's been in the market for about 5 years now and at some point
I MUST make it Universal. This is why I migrated, but I can't
work like this...I'll never get anything done!
