I've been using the fill transparency in a figureshape.
On the mac builds, transparency works nicely. Values ranging from 0
to 100 result in a range of transparent fills.
On the windows builds the transparency appears to work in an all-or-
none fashion The windows test machine is set to 32 bit color. Fills
with values less than 50 are completely transparent, while those
greater than 50 are opaque.
Is this a known bug or windows limitation? (I couldn't find
anything similar in bug reports)
Known limitation, in fact the transparency feature is *only*
compatible with OS X and Quartz renderer... it should be in the
documentation but if it is not then it should be updated.
Hopefully in the future this would be extended to Windows XP and
Windows Vista (at least).
