Hmmm. I just compiled a test app with REALbasic, and the open
dialog is showing previews for image files. Perhaps RS has
already switched to Cocoa.
Or is it a feature of the version of OS X you're running ?
What are you running it on ?
i think the argument is... we have these long discussions speculating
about why new feature X is going to make RB so great... come up with
all these crazy ideas, then codify them into our expectations. you
only need to look at this last thread to see how varied and unfounded
many peoples expectations of the speed/size/etc improvements of the
new compiler/rb in rb design/ etc.
the interest in the product is great... sometimes the outcomes are not.
