The email said that I was bumped from the beta program because my key
had expired. Given the volume of reports, it looks like a glitch somewhere.

As far as I'm aware, being a subscriber doesn't guarantee you a spot
in the beta program. It's based on your productivity for reporting
bugs (the entire point of the beta program).
