Hi,
if you are an old REALbasic (pre-2005) user, you certainly remember the Quick
Copy feature. For your convenience, I put a quote from the REALbasic 5.2 User’s
Guide [for PC] pdf explanation:
<quote>
Using Quick Copy to Insert Code
Code Editor provides an easy shortcut for copying and pasting text. When you
hold down the Shift-Option keys, the pointer turns into an Eyedropper tool. With
the insertion point at the location of the paste, click on the term you wish to
copy. It is immediately pasted at the insertion point.
</quote>
Not only this allows us to make a quick Copy of any text from the Code Editor,
but you also can use that feature to Quick Copy Method name, Control Name, and
so on...
I miss badly this REALbasic 5.5.5 feature at the point it count on the fact that
I still use REALbasic 5.5.5 to create projects. At some point in the project
life, I used REALbasic 2005r4 and build the application.
here is the feature request:

If you want that old but removed feature to make a come back, please, add your
vote.
