Yep, I think that was the whole reason for Apple pushing people to Mach-O. PEFs are effectively legacy code now.

Difficult for me to figure too, but I guess a call to either of:

    extern const NXArchInfo *
     NXGetArchInfoFromName(const char *name);

     extern const NXArchInfo *
NXGetArchInfoFromCpuType(cpu_type_t cputype, cpu_subtype_t cpusubtype);

should give the right info.

Since PEF/CFM applications work on PPC, I'm assuming they won't on Intel. Interesting. Makes no difference to me, I prefer Mach-O anyway.
