GetDateTime is deprecated.
Yes, i know that, been writing Mac code since 1984- the call still
works in Carbon/Classic; AND these are already EXISTING legacy files
- the question, within REALBASIC still is :
how to move from a 4-byte unsigned integer to
the 8-byte double used by Date.TotalSeconds. A variant? A varmint?
Perhaps use CFAbsoluteTimeGetCurrent (epoch is Jan 1 2001 00:00:00
GMT); it
returns the number of seconds.
