I'm in search of a device, which I'd like to control through an RB app. I call this little device iFace, since it's a remote extension of my computer.
The iFace: - should be cheap - should have a LCD display - should have a WLAN interface - should have 4 cursor cross keys, a YES and a NO key - doesn't need to be quite intelligent This is the idea: Most people use their PC or Mac to collect and manage information. Due to huge costs, people don't put another PC near their refrigerator to manage their shopping list, don't put another PC in each meeting room to watch the room's schedule or get important notifications. I'd like to have several small iFace units connected to my PC/Mac, which allow to display certain information (mainly text based) and a limited input capabilities (4 cursor cross keys, Yes and No keys). PC/Mac should send certain information to the iFace through WLAN, which in turn displays it. A menu system might be enough functionality on the iFace. Users can walk through the menu system and send back certain limited information. Does someone know, if I may buy such an iFace somewhere? Thx, sp _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives of this list here: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
