Expected behavior.. or at least it should be. A "click" shouldn't automatically claim focus as that would be sometimes not the desired behavior, and there would be no way around it if it were the default.

You could make a subclass that had a property called clickToFocus As Boolean and you could manage that yourself if you thought it was easier?

Call SetFocus in the MouseDown event handler. Clicking on a Canvas does nothing by default.


I always wondered if that is a bug or an expected behaviour.
