Memory stick not locked. I could have said "Internat Hard disk" too. So, there is at last two (if you do not count the OS RAM Disk) places not locked available to store data _PROVIDING_ REALbasic is able to get one of them (seach for an unlocked mass storage volume).

No, I do not saw that. There was one night between the two boots (and I shut down the machine between them) and these information are still there (boots on the infamous Aurox burned in a DVD)...

Still in the dark.

I managed (in the yesterday afternoon) to get an empty USB 2 external 40GB hard disk, so I will try this afternoon to put a linux distro there...
