Well I'm not going to be at RW. But I've been getting into 2d particle animation and other 2d graphics work with RB over the past couple of years.
I have a Text-on-Fire class < http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=136774 > , a few games, an then there's ImagePlay < http://imageplay.sourceforge.net > , my new multi-layered image effects editor. My next version of NetSolitaire has drop shadows for all the cards, cross fades when changing the background, and other slickness, I just need to release it. All of this is open source by the way. You know I was thinking the other day; it'd be nice if there was a centralized place for open source Graphics Demos that are made with RB. I remember finding alot of Graphics Demos on os9. People would make these little programs that do a bunch of random animations and simulations. Like, ants dancing across the screen, with some animated text and a pulsating background that looks like it came from an LSD trip. Fun stuff. But I guess we could just post all of our stuff to RBgarage.com as example projects and what-not. Yea, that's a good idea! I'd like to hear what crazy stuff others are doing with graphics in RB! ~ Tomis --- John Balestrieri <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hello, > > If anyone is interested in meeting to talk about the use of 2D and 3D > graphics with REALbasic, I think the RW conference would be a great > place to do so.
