The question is:
how did you define the height of a PushButton (for example) ?
[by successive try ?]
Emile,
Using RB 5.5 through RB2005r4, I had this problem with Buttons. I put
conditional code in a subclassed button to change the height to 28.
Note: Setting a button to 22 pixels in the IDE gave me a button that was 16
pixels in the finished Linux app.
With RB 2006r1, I don't have to do this any more. It seems to have been fixed.
This is news. I didn't find something on the RN about Linux (or not what I saw
searching / or I was not watching them carefully).
I am using KDE desktop and a Debian Linux.
Complementary question:
when you found a value, did it works for many (if not every) Linux flavor ?
I have only tried with KDE and Debian
BTW: I have a Debian (from 2005) somewhere. I will make a search.
Thanks,
Emile
PS: I think that 26 was the value I was mostly happy with (I was thinking 28 was
a bit tall, but the text is centered vertically).
