It seems that somehow, rb resembles VisualBasic in syntax i many ways. ... I
wonder if
Listbox1.listitem(listbox1.listindex).selected = false
wouldn't do the trick for you?

I'm wondering if my version of RB (or the project) is munged... It
definitely does not work here and neither does changing the cursor in the
DragOver event and a few other oddities associated with the listbox..
when others have said it does ... I think i might try an XML
export/import an downloading a fresh copy of RB2006R1
BTW 10.4.5 RB2006R1 Dual Core 2.3 GHz PowerPC
