Just how much work is involved in making RB create Universal Binaries?
When I first heard Apple's announcement and RS' response, my thought was that it wouldn't be difficult to do, but now with the delays it appears
that it's more difficult than I thought. I'm wondering if part of the
problem is that parts of RB are written in RB -- and since RB can't create
a UB now, does that make it more difficult to add that feature?

Good point Mark! If bits of Rb need redoing, we could be in for a long wait!

I'm assuming it's just "simply" a case of writing a new compiler, and maybe an API change or two...

Are other environments (other than XCode) already producing UBs or is RS having to wait or workaround Codewarrior or other development evironment's
limitations?

Just curious what's involved at a technical level.
