Hi,
at this time I'm testing DMRegisterExtendedNotifyProc and
DMRemoveExtendedNotifyProc (Display Manager Reference). Using this
functions you can register your app to be notified from the Display
Manager, if the resolution of your display was changed and many other
things happened to the display. Nice functions ... hmmm

It appears that they have changed. A simple msgbox "res changed" in
app.activate does not get triggered when changing screen resolution.
Any other ideas anyone? I'm running out, I may have to resort to a
timer. Once a second or so shouldn't impact too much, but it is
undesireable.

Things like this used to be dealt with by the Activate event in
the app class.
Basically, when the res changes, your application should be
deactivated and reactivated, so you only need to put checking code
in the Activate event. But things may have changed...

Does OS X send a system wide apple event or anything after the
screen resolution is changed?
I need to know when resolution is changed to adjust some routines
accordingly, but would rather not devote system reources to a
little timer in the background checking for changes in screen
(0).width etc....
Any ideas?
