So, I got this 3d World, but how do I give it a sky? I tried a sphere with
cloud textures, but that's just ugly... So how could I best do it?

Your best bet would be to create a sky box. Google "sky box rendering" for more info.

There's code in the Renegades project that's made with REALbasic and also includes a way to generate a lens flare effect at <http:// www.codenautics.com/renegades/>.

If you don't already have a ready-made sky, you could use a 3D terrain generator such as Bryce or Terragen to create your pictures. This I feel is really the toughest part of creating a sky box (or for your sphere method, which does work if the sky texture is done just right).

Good luck!
