I have to admit that as a long time Newton user this thread is
interesting.
The newton has great handwriting recognition once you train it.
Mine is nearly flawless now.
The biggest drawback to handwriting recognition seems to be that people
are not willing to live with 95% accuracy, or even 97 or 98% accuracy.
It seems it has to be very nearly 100% to be really useful
