> This is exactly where Geoff said it is on their priority list

Sorry, I forgot to mention that in my original post - yes it's definitely
good news and reassuring. I am not complaining [ too much yet ;) ], just
hoping that it's coming along as quickly (and stable) as possible. That
magic "Universal app compatible" slogan is a strong marketing tag for us to
attach to our software products that would really help us all out (mac users
at least). The timetable is especially critical because of the fact that
many of our competitors (at least in my industry) are releasing UB ready
versions of their apps daily, and our sales are starting to slide, and I
only imagine that this will increase exponentially over the next few months.

The mystic forces at Apple marketing seem to be doing a remarkable job at
convincing Mac users that they *need* to be using UB apps ASAP, and the
masses seem to have mostly listened (This goes for new Macintel users, as
well as current PPC users). It's just one of those Steve Jobs magic
tricks...but it's going to start hurting RB developers I think much sooner
than some people think.

Again, very glad to hear it's at the top of the priority list. I just hope
the timetable can be pushed up so it's (much) sooner than the end of this
year (which is still 10 months away).

Chad
