Any way to just cause the native OS login window to appear?
Something like:
on run {v, w}
mount volume v on server w
end run
I've run into similar situations and would rather just have the OS
login
appear. Would this work?
This will mount the volume's drop box. To get the login, include the
user name:
mount volume "charlene" on server "Charlene" as user name "Charlene"
The login appears because it still requires the password that wasn't
included in the script.
If the volume/server is not on the LAN it will produce a message the
disk was not found.
