I am saving styled text to a flat-file. I created a routine that iterates through the the style runs of a styled text instance and saves them to a memoryblock. I created another routine that reads a memory block and reconstitutes the an editfield's styled text property. When I run this on OSX or Windows, it works properly. However, it never works on OS9. For example, if I type a sentence "This is my styled text" and underline the word "This", when I reconstitute the memoryblock on OS9, only "his " is underlined. It were as if the style run starting position gets moved by 1. This occurs with all style runs. The style run's starting position is a read only property of the stylerunrange class, so I can't just reset it. Any ideas?
