Can someone tell me if this is a bug in the remote debugger or if its supposed to work this way, and possibly a remedy?
I am coding on a mac, and remote debugging on a windows machine. On the windows machine, I have a number of folders - one for each user with their license file and data - so I can 'walk in their shoes' exactly. I copied the debugger stubb into each folder and run one copy of it at a time. To my horror, I discovered that when my app goes looking for their data files, its looking in a completely different folder - possibly one I used a few months ago. It totally ignores the directory/folder from which it (the stub program exe) is located and from where its running. It seems to have a memory of where it was last run, despite where it is. Is this true? If so, how can I make it NOT do this, or purge the cache?
