On most systems, there is the account name and the user's name. The account is HP_Administrator. For most average systems, the account name is never changed, so it stays that way. On Mac OS X, it cannot be changed, but the user is at least given the opportunity to choose it. Then there is the user's name. My name is not HP_Administrator, it's Thom McGrath. In the Start menu and Welcome screen, I see Thom McGrath. But these calls return HP_Administrator - the account name. I want the user's name associated with the account, not the name of the account itself.

Just out of curiosity, what differences are you seeing between the name
you're not able to get and the ones you are?
