Ed,
I've done this in the last few weeks for a large company. I've
written some apps to manage a lot of RFID readers/bridges to lock/
unlock doors. All employees have a personal card with a RFID chip
inside of it. The cards are created by a RB app and printed with an
Evolis cardprinter. A door will be opened if the person is permitted.
The app to talk with the different networks with their readers is
written also in RB and connected with a database. Everything is
running on OSXServer.

Hi folks:
Has anyone here ever done any work with electronic locks?
Specifically, connecting an electronic lock device to a database?
I'm thinking about incorporating access control into an app that
I'm developing, and was curious to see if anyone else has ever
tackled such a thing in the past.
I've got a couple of ideas about how I might do this, but they're
just that... ideas. :-)
Regards,
Ed
