Error 104 seems to crop up with Spotlight mostly, so not sure why you're seeing it on 10.3.9.

I get it when I do debug sessions in quick succession. Spotlight locks the MyApp.debug file so RB complains about a 104 error because it can't replace the debug executive with it's newly.

I get around this by excluding my project folder from Spotlight indexing, but not sure what to do about it in 10.3.X... strange.

The only thing I can think of is that you must be trying to read in the file twice. Perhaps you would be better off copying the file to /tmp and then displaying that..?

Thanks for your response. but as you wrote, it also and more, i think. in 10.3... That I could think it could be, is that the HTML viewer not close the file, of some reason.
When I close my app and restart, the file is NOT 'In use' ....

Yes, I read the file twice, first into the Editor and then load it into the viewer. But I close the file after reading it into the Editor. And there is never any problems before I used the file in the Viewer. So still it must be the viewer that not close the file. And I could not find any way to 'unlock' the file before I try to write it over with the new data. But it is some strange, today this only happens on OS X 10.3.9
