it's technically impossible for a cookie to do something like this. They are no harm and people over-react at the term "cookie" - they are nothing more than a small piece of data a website sends your browser which your browser sends back. They cannot get information about your computer, where you have been, anything. Other websites cannot even get to cookies they did not send your browser. There is no possible harm that could come from a cookie. It's usually more harmful not to allow them.
