Harrie,

Do you have an example you could email me so I can see how you did it. Printing for me right now is a bit troublesome but like you said, once you see how it works, it becomes easier.

You can send it to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thanks so much as this will fix my troublesome printing issues for good and make my software so much more.. Professional after some 4 years of getting to this point.

Thank you,

Jonathon

Harrie,

Will this work for Windows Based RB2005+ Pro?

As this is the system I am working on now.

Jonathon,

It certainly should. I just took a little program I got from someone on the NUG a while back over to my Dell Laptop and gave it a go on an older Epson Ink Jet printer, at 72 dpi and 300 dpi as well as a Brother Laser printer at 300 dpi and 1200 dpi and they all properly printed the output from the test program. Like I said before, I have had no problems printing Mac, or PC now that I understand how printing works. It takes a little more thinking, and understanding, but once conquered, it works fine. I will admit, I learned to use a canvas on screen that would represent the piece of paper so as to save wasting a lot of paper when dealing with my first complex outputs. I would get the PageSetup string and use the values from it when printing onto the canvas. When it looked good there it was simply a matter of changing the graphics object from the canvas to the printer.

But, again, I will add that the majority of my printing has been on the Mac but when I have had to do it on the PC it worked okay for me.
