I'm trying to refactor my application to be multithreaded and use a
REALSQLDatabase instead of a custom xml file. Trying to gain speed
really. The problem is I get errors while trying to do anything from
within my threads. One of which does heavy work and I would prefer it
to have it's own thread. May have to scratch the whole multithreaded
idea.
I searched the archives to find that the included version of SQLite
does not allow this. Frustrating and understandable, so I do a little
work to have the threads open new connections to the file. Doesn't
work though, it still gives me these errors. So I closed the other
connections so there could only be one at a time. No luck again.
I guess there's not much point in asking. I'm likely to hear "you're
probably doing something somewhere that still uses the db connection
in the main thread" - not the case. Sorry, just venting.
