If this is true, one should verify it using some other PPC apps.

Below are some observations when compared to a PPC Mac.
It takes longer to start on the MacBook Pro than it does on the
PowerBook G4 1.5ghz that I have.
On the MacBook Pro its memory consumption is 860 mbs virtual, 137
mb real
On the PowerBook G4 its memory consumption is 330 mbs virtual,
110 mb real
Might this be due to Rosetta, since the engine compiles PPC code
just in time into Intel code?
