My telephone line is pretty slow, and usually drops every five/six minutes.
That makes browsing a nightmare, since it takes ages before I can reach the
page I need. But once I get the URL of a downloadoble file I switch to an
application of mine ('Download Manager' in the software section at
www.asram.org) that supports resumed downloads, and the nightmare stops since I
know that even after 20 resumed downloads I'll eventually get the whole file.
