Hi--

Sorry to put my two cents in, but I think one of the reasons, sadly, many people don't use RB is *not* because of what they've heard about the IDE, but because of the reaction of some very experienced people -- the "sages",

It is exactly the newbies who will find

This, IMHO, is how RB's "bad" reputation, if it has one, is spread.

I am a newbie.
See above and listen to me: Jeffrey is RIGHT!

I have just bought a RB2006r1 license, but I was very doubtfull because of the emails that pointed out lacks in RB6.

I only know this: EVERY programming language, framework, etc. HAS lacks: you can ALWAYS hear about people that make a list of bad (and good) behaviours you can find in them.

Just a suggestion: stop talking about "oh, this is bad, and that is not very good, etc. etc." and start fulfill mailing list with argument RB6 related (really):
Real basic tips and Real basic plugin are desert...
