I'm looking for a summary for the benefits of soft declares in RB 2005/2006.
Do you mean beside being able to declare sub / functions within your app
that may not exist for one of your target OSs? I kept getting hung up in
pre 2005 versions where I need to use one call for Win NT and another
for Win 9x, but my apps would crash if I did not use a soft declare (ala
MBS) when the library or function didn't exist for that OS (even if
wrapped in #if target blocks).
hth,
Brian
