Okay, I actually tested this. As I suggested earlier, you need to
add a CFBundleIdentifier key-value pair to the applications's .plist
file. I just built an application, copied it, and added a
CFBundleIdentifier to one, but not the other. I could add the copy
with CFBundleIdentifier to the SimpleFinder list; I could not add the
copy without a CFBundleIdentifier.

Could anyone provide details of the workaround (if there is one) for
making a Mach-O built app run under Simple Finder on OS X. I found
an item in the NUG archive relating to the same problem. The reply
mentioned that the problem probably had to do with the plist file
generated by RB, but I would have no clue as to what Simple Finder
would be looking for in the plist file or even if that was the
correct solution.
