I also get a second error when I compile.
Compilation of "APP NAME" failed.
Linker failed with error #0. This project contains a Declare
statement which references the PEF library "Carbon Lib". In a Mach-O
application, you must use "Carbon" instead.
I do not receive this error in 2006 r1 and all my declares seem to be
formatted correctly.

Except the Linux version which crashes on various points.
I have the RB2006R1 version ...
impossible to use my application on Mac and XP: the text files are
not read any more. And bugs are not corrected during 3 months !
As for the Linux version, it)does not plant any more when it
planted but in another place where it did not plant before. LOL !
I did not try RB2006r2 for Linux, but it is unusable for my
application on Mac or on PC !
