I'm finding that my MacBook Pro is also an extremely competitive Windows machine as well. Leave it to Apple to make dual-booting a piece of cake. It is somewhat surreal to see the "Startup Disk" icon sitting in a Windows Control Panel, though...

Not that it's a fair comparison, but RB 2006r1 seems to be a tad speedier on this than my one-yr old Dell laptop. If you're not too squeamish about partitioning, I'd suggest giving Boot Camp a try, just to experience it. I wouldn't necessarily rely on it day-to-day yet, as Blue Screens are still more common than with a full-on PC.

Regards,
Ed

I am pretty sure that it will run faster than my 12"PB 867Mhz 640MB Ram even if it does use Rosetta. I have dying trying to use this system with RB2005/6.

RB220x runs fine and just about twice as fast on my MBP as it did on my 500MHz PowerBook.

Virtually all my software moved over and ran fine, except of course Classic apps don't work at all.

WebEx is the only thing I can think of that doesn't work for me.
