I know that on the Mac I can use Core Graphics or QuickDraw to declare into in order to do some drawing, but what library and declares can I make for Windows and Linux?
For Windows declares, you'll need to become familiar with the drawing tools in the Windows API. If you happen to have access to VB6 you can get some help from the MSDN help application Active Subset (Entire Collection). Otherwise, search the Knowledge Base on the MicroSoft web site. Some of the API's drawing functions are: Point, PSet, MoveToEx, LineTo, Polyline, Polygon, Rectangle,...
Of course, you also can use Rb's intrinsic graphics tools rather than Declare's.
