Hi there,
You are better off using RB2006r2, where drag events do fire. With
RB2006r1
you have to use really dirty workarounds that I will only post if you
absolutely can't use r2.
What about 5.5? I've seen a few things here and there, and I know
there's DragLib, which works just for OS X. Every few months I run
into a D&D issue that I'd love to solve -- I'm glad to hear that
events fire. Do all the regular events, that should, fire? Like, I
could drag between listboxes and get feedback, like highlighting the
cell? That'd be great.
My real question, though, because it is...not inconcievable,
financially...for me to upgrade to 2006r2, but I have gotten the
impression that it's not going to run very well on my 450MHz g4.
Those specs reside in the pretty large gap between Minimum and
Recommended Requirements.
Anybody using a comparable machine that could maybe give me an idea?
Thanks,
Ian
