Is this just something to do with properties being preserved in the
IDE or does it also affect changing background colour under program
control?
I have code that changes background colour under program control so
when the insertion point is in text of a lighter colour, the
background goes dark to make it visible.
Using constants to contain the colour and changing in an open event
might be a useful workaround.
If programmatic changes fail too, I'll have to add this to my list of
things dissuading me upgrading to RB200x :-(
