Ah yes, for old hands:

Save after every small change.

Save and quit after anything important.

Then copy your code before opening again...

Ah, that might explain why I never see that problem. I tend to Quit RB very often, a habit I got into back in the early days as a way to enhance stability. And in the old IDE, Quitting was the only way to close a project without opening another one. So I quit often.
