CMYK is a read in a memoryblock.
And TIFF can handle CMYK with alpha as far as I know.
Ahh, well that could work if it's from a memoryblock. I know that TIFF
can have CMYK alpha channels, but I was wondering if your plugin
supported it? In other words, is it a `complete` implementation of the
TIFF spec? I had implemented a TIFF writer that handled CMYK+a, but it
was too slow for large images, so I'm looking for an alternative. This
just might work. Otherwise I'll have to do my own re-write.
This one I'm not familiar with. Can you elaborate on ImageMagick
stuff?
Well, try it. CMYK is one of the colorspaces there.
I took a look and it seems like all of the methods are global filters.
Unfortunately, what I need to do is actually draw in CMYK--much as I
can draw in RGB such as rectangles, ovals, fills, text, picture
objects, etc. This brings me back to my original question:
Does anyone know where I can locate the ColorModule? It's my
understanding that I can draw in CMYK with this. I've written a CMYK
drawing module previously (Image Tools 1.0), but it was slow and clumsy
and will need to be rewritten if I can't find something else.

I've taken the liberty of writing a native CMYK function for
REALbasic. It's part of something I call the ColorModule, and can be
downloaded here:

AFAIK, it's XPlatform.
Enjoy!
