It's a known RB bug. Popup menus on Composite windows cause infinite refreshing.
There are two bug reports in the system for this already. Feel free to sign on, it will encourage RB to fix the issue. http://realsoftware.com/feedback/viewreport.php?reportid=bkzpbvhp http://realsoftware.com/feedback/viewreport.php?reportid=jkhxyzve The workaround of course is to not composite windows that have popup menus. I have also noticed that in RB 5.5, if you put two controls 6 pixels or less apart, any refreshes to one control will cause the other to refresh as well. Something else to be on the lookout for. ~ Tomis --- Dennis Birch <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > In delving deeper into the CPU usage issue I wrote about on the list a > few days ago, I've come across further strangeness I hope somebody > else can explain.
