I wonder if this line could be the problem. ISTR a folder may not be valid on OS X.
FileToAccess = GetFolderItem("")
I think RelativeTo has to be an existing file (any file) or Nil
If one does not know the name of an existing file, how does one set
RelativeTo to Nil?
In other words, if this will not work on a Mac:
FileToAccess = GetFolderItem("")
What should that code be replaced by?
Related question: how would I go about seeing that the temporary files
will be written not to the folder containing the program but to a folder
on a hard drive (e.g., whatever on the Mac would correspond to "C:\" on
a Windows computer)?
The reason I ask the second question is that I would like the program to
be able to be run directly from a CD-ROM, which is (of course)
"Read-Only" by definition.
