Hi All,

Well, just when I thought my classes were just about
finished, (having created them in RB2006r2 on OSX
10.4.6) I then opened my project in XP to have it
misbehave quite badly - menu weirdness. Took
me ages to figure out a work-around but I finally
started to make some ground... Then...

...I thought I'd see how it all behaves on Suse
Linux... even MORE menu weirdness - but different(!)
so it looks like I'll be debugging the Linux build
now too - and hopefully any changes I do won't
affect the Mac and XP code that now works in
harmony!

My point being - those of you who have just bought
RB and are hoping for a write-once-deploy-often
(wodo, as hereby coined by me :) experience are in
for a surprise! :)

Don't get me wrong - I LURVE RB, but it looks like
from this relatively simple class I've created that
x-platform wodo (ok, it's a bit silly) is not as simple
as I would have hoped.

Interestingly enough though, the code is breaking
on the built-in controls and methods for popup
menus - the classes and controls I created from
scratch all work exactly the same x-platform - which
is what really matters to me.

Just thought I'd share this before going to debug
the Linux build(!). :)

All the best,

Mark.
