I need a repetitious way so that at every refresh of Results pages
are updated, it places the details into a worksheet first.
I can the get it to a database later.
If I can just get started with a small project first, to simply get
results information, then I know I have renewed incentive to
continue on with programming. I know I can build from that point
onwards because it's relatable.
I relate to results criteria for my sports hobby, to "join the
dots" and hope the penny drops when it concerns getting
applications to work and make sense.
How then do I get a application with what I have ( RB ) and get
stuck into something worthwhile from those webpages ?
Well, I see in the developer PDF you should be able to access it
using SOAP, which should be the easiest way to get it. I don't have
the time to dig deep into this, and I don't know how good RB's SOAP
implementation is in RB 2006r2, I remember it was pretty limited in
the past, so I don't know how it will cope with the returned XML
response. I'm posting this message on the normal REALbasic NUG, as
that's where it belongs now. Maybe the other nice people on the list
will be able to help you out.
