Press Release for My Money Minder 1.8
SYDNEY, Australia (May 22nd 2006) - Ben's Software today announced
the release of My Money Minder 1.8 for MacOS X.
My Money Minder is the easiest way to manage your personal finances.
It is a Made with REALbasic application that allows you to keep track
of all your expenses, income and bank account balances. These can be
organised into an unlimited number of user defined Categories.
Similar Categories can be organised into Groups (e.g Home, Work,
Holidays). Methods of payment, such as Cash, Credit Card or Cheque
can also be tracked. Each Financial Year can be summarised by month,
Group, Category, Payment, Expense, Income, Bank Account and Tax
totals. All the data in My Money Minder can be displayed in a
spreadsheet style grid (where you can resize the column widths,
change the row heights to fit all the text or sort the data based on
a particular column) or as a graph (Line, Bar, Stacked Bar or Pie).
Changes in the release:
- can import/export OFX/OFC files
- Support for localisations (partially done for French, German,
Italian and Spanish
- Area graph type
- added Balances to the Yearly Summary
- graphs can have data captions along with x and y axis gridlines
- improved autocomplete
Major Bugfxes:
- CSV/Tab importing is more reliable
- custom items work correctly with commas
My Money Minder requires a Mac running Mac OS X v10.1 or greater.
v1.7.3 can also run on Mac OS 8.5/9 with the Carbon Library v1.1 or
higher installed.
