Hi ,
yesterday I've build a small test project in RB2006 to monitor files. I've tested especially the FNSubscribe function. It runs perfect. If changes made in the subscribed directory, you will got a feedback to your callback function and you can handle it. But this won't help me because I have to monitor some files ( nice try 8) ). Perhaps it will help you a little. If you're interested, I will send you the code.

Does anyone have experience with kqueue? Does anyone have any experience with making declares to system libraries? Is this even possible? Currently I have a poll driven method of checking if modifications have been made on a drive. I would like to have an event based method where the finder(or the system) tells me that some kind of action has happened on a drive. I know about folder notifications, but I want to examine a couple thousand folders.
