how about a P2P approach? You could use AutoDiscovery and TCP sockets
to abstract form any shared volumes. The teacher's system would be
the server. Or even any application could be a server.
Prepare a windows with a list-box and show all other systems. I suppose,
it would be quite fine, if the children see suddenly appear or disappear
other systems 'Hey, Bob's shares his files. Great! Let's see what's
going on
over there!'
Well, just an idea. This idea might or might not be appropriate for
your needs.
