For anybody interested in performance testing, here is the compiled app:

        http://www.turingart.com/downloads/TAWebServerDemo.zip

Features:

- Creates a listing of the current directory as HTML
- Shows JPEG, GIF or PNG files
- Executes PHP files, if PHP is installed on your system [sample included]
- Executes CGI scripts [PHP, Perl and sh samples included]

Work in progress ;-)

I'll release my web-server framework as a commercial product the next few weeks. If someone would like to get the encrypted demo, please forward a short email.
I'll add you to the waiting queue.

Using this code is very simple: Drop some classes in your project
and (basically) add 4 lines of code.

Obviously, you need to add your app-specific HTTP replies. The lib manages the base work like decode HTTP requests, prepare HTTP replies, cookies and that sort of thing.
