If you're not set on using an ActiveX control, I'd suggest using
Einhugur's treeview plugin. The amount of work to loop through folders and
populate it would be very little.

Hello,
I'd like to include in one of my project windows a view of a directory
that I specify in code (along with the ability to launch selected
files). I was contemplating doing this with a ListBox and using
FolderItem to get the info from the directory; then I thought a lot of
pain might be saved if I could find an ActiveX control that essentially
is the Windows Explorer and can essentially be chrooted in a directory
(a preference; not a requirement). However, the combination of a lack
of much documentation of ActiveX and how to use it in RB with the flood
of information geared toward VB.net; I'm just lost.
Can someone direct me to an ActiveX tutorial or HowTo in RB?
Is there an ActiveX control already bundled in RB that does this?
Where would I find the documentation on how to use/control this control?
Thanks!
Mark
