can't you just say
dim d as editfield1
d=new editfield1 //makes a new editfield index of 1
d.visible=true
then when you want to make it go byebye say
d.close
or
editfield(1).close
I'm sure that works.

The amount of EditFields will be dynamic so I cant

So I have a simple application running and when I
push a pushbutton I

the push button. Is
this possible?
You can't create one out of thin air, but you can
clone an existing one (or, of course, simply unhide
one that already exists but was invisible).
